PRAISE:KUDOS FOR NEW FOLDER INTERFACE
Kiernan Holland
Its a start.. I think the use of the search system should be a separate view as it is confusing if you are in a folder and it is still being applied.
Consider the benefits and difference of how folders are being used here, to scoping and partitioning. Scope is functionally is equivalent to the use of curly brackets C. Although in C some attributes are global, so it only separates a subset of parameters.
You can get away from all this loded meaning, if you define each interface as a view on the data.. But even in modern computer interfaces, don't maintain discrete views as a concept, cause it would confuse novices. A view is like how blender 3D permits one to look at 3D object data, needed if many professionals are working with the same data. That may never happen with udio.
My only advice would be to add better feedback fir the breadcrumbs which help you to determine if you are in a folder. As well as double the size of the magnifying glass when a search is applied ..

Save tracks to subfolders
fivezy
Folders are amazing, but I can't save tracks to subfolders, nor can I seem to move them out of a folder back to the main library or other top level folders once I've moved them.
UPDATE: Oh I just realized I can drag the track to the folder in the menu bar, so it's possible but far from intuitive.

Folder design is bunked
Tmos Monstrocity
Folder design is bunked. Ok so now we have a list that never changes and a folder option that is a glorified hot link mess and a library section without pages and filled to the brim bogging down the whole system? I wanted a folder option to make my songs more manageable and to be able to create sectioned off songs. Just incase if I mass delete I wouldn't delete songs I wanted to keep. Now I have a cluster F of a list that never changes even when I move songs to folders. I may be OCD but damn this is like it was designed by a child who never actually used an indexing system before. Was this designed so poorly because of copyrighted UIs? This feels anti user or crappy for the sake of being crappy.

New folder interface sucks ass!

the reason there us two of this message is that I noticed that your message categorization doesn't permit end users to fibd uncategorized messages.. Also the categorization selector and the selector to display a category are not the same thing.. Maybe you should drop the uncategorized label, and substitute it with a catch all like private if you do not want uncategorized messages to be viewable. If a consumer us going to invest time in sharing their input, it may frustrate them even make them mad if they get the feeling this system is not being maintained and they are using it to contribute ideas. Its a public relations concern.. If you have no intent of considering any of this, explain why and remove this section of the site.. Nothing worse than wasting your clients time..
How does this cheese shop skit end? Ditto..

In my opinion something happened in the work team, because I really don't know who can project a folder system in this way. Here we really talk about html, css and javascript, the basics. Furthermore, the links for the playlist, trash bin etc etc have disappeared, but they add an icon of a home, which no one knows what it is for other than it's not working. If you click on it, nothing happens.
In the list of the right column with all the tracks, they have put an infinity-scroll but there is no scrollbar at least to go back up quickly. A disaster.
The infinity-scroll bar in this position has no sense, please back to pagination system. Change the front-end staff because the system really works worse with every change. At this point I think that when they make changes they don't even check them, they just put them up. We have reported many errors in both generation and UI but it seems that no one is interested, so let's imagine what will happen to the system when they make more important changes!! I scare with it!
