Extend songs by an additional 2-4 minutes, of any length, with 32 or 130 second models.

Just to manage expectations here a bit... we're working on offering more choices in song lengths, but can't promise "any length". So no, there will be no one-click 42 minute songs, and we can't guarantee there'll be unlimited arbitrary selections ("extend by 2:42.42!")

UdioAdam Always good to manage expectations. In my own particular use, certain types of songs bring me the opposite need of how the current options work: Make many short generations to find a seed of something exciting, then extend by a long amount. Normally, 32-second initial gens and extensions work for me. Occasionally though, longer extensions would help see how much potential the song has for extension--even if i have to select one and inpaint odd areas. Thank you!

UdioAdam Okay, i'm sorry. I may have written it wrong. I didn't mean any length of the continuation that we chose, but so that we could continue the tracks for 2 or 4 minutes with any model, be it 32 seconds, 2 minutes, or 4 minutes (if planned in the future) within the boundaries. Well, that was clear anyway, I just overdid it with the question :P
Thanks!

Ogurex heh, no worries! I think you and JT will be happy with what we're working on, even though it might take a while :)

UdioAdam I had noticed that the thing uses some diffusion I think to create the music, that will explain why what I guess are tensors are of a fixed size kind of like the way they are an image generation where it's only 512 x 512 , and you have noticed im sure what happens when the target image has extended dimension you end up with extra long people with multiple heads and arms.. I think even if this happened in the music, it could yield some interesting results..
What I need is a way to extend the remix because I would like to be able to remix over a longer period of time. I'd like to apply a remix to a generation that I have already produced, but I want to create a different style or make it more monotonous or add some certain kind of style across the entire.. composition and I hate having to do it individually and having to load stuff like that into a DAW would be kind of pointless, especially if you could do it inside .
TThthis sort of thing could also be used by somebody who's trying to create different language lyrics, trying to create music for other languages so they could just match the lyrics to the original source of music and then have it regenerate and possibly change instruments just by doing a remix to a style.

Kiernan, definitely understand and appreciate the interest in extended-remix coverage!

UdioAdam I think 42 minute songs are anyway edge case. What is probably more important is to be able to say "generate 5, 10,15, 30 seconds" and so on. Another use case is to extend from the middle of a song to re-generate that.

Chris, ah, got it, appreciate the clarification!
