Each generation adds to the ever growing number of files in my list. Sometimes, I want to explore a prior generation from a prior project and have trouble finding it. I'd also like to occasionally look thru in general to see how many of my generations have not yet been worked into full songs. I'm open to ways of handling this, but even a combo of classical file folder structures and tagging could work, esp if we have batch changes available.
