K-pop and J-pop: A Must for Udio’s Popular Genres List
Daisy
Dear Udio Team,
Your platform celebrates a diverse range of music, and it’s always exciting to explore the variety of genres available. However, I noticed that genres like K-pop and J-pop, which have become globally popular over time, are not listed among the popular genres on the site.
Adding K-pop and J-pop to the list of popular genres would mean a lot to the growing community of K-pop and J-pop fans on Udio. It would make it easier for us to connect with the music we love and feel represented on your platform.
Thank you for considering this suggestion, and I look forward to getting the K-pop and J-pop community represented and coming together.
Best regards,
Daisy

Another option would be to refer generally to Japanese music, because J-Metal, J-Rock, J-Core are all relatively well known genres, at least in the Japanese community.
They are all also very different from the Western counterparts.
Stuff like J-Pixie might be to niche, but having an umbrella category for all things Japanese would allow them all to be included.
